we can't predict the outcome of PPSMI in a short period of time so we need to continue as usual. even though I am not an EL teacher, I don't have problem to teach mathematics in english

Yup.. I agree with the comment saying we can use mother tongue in primary n English in secondary. Most of the reference books in the upper level are in English, so it is quite crucial for us to learn Sc n Maths in English.I still remember having a hard time seaching for extra info and understanding it.

Help our government to enhance our kids proficiency in English... Don't demonstrate like a demon, but be like an angel...

I think that in primary school it should be done in the mother tongue. In secondary school we can use English.

I think it is good to learn Science and Math in English because the students are going to learn them in English when they are in higher level. It is better to start early as children have great abilities of learning.

This program is good but the succes of the program cannot be measured by the achievement in the examinations.

Using English for the two subjects is fine for good students . For the slower students , the teachers have to work very hard to make it successful .

My opinion not good Science and math in English coz :
1. Goverment must pay extra money for teacher. Allowence for Etems.
2. No more piece because many demontration.
3. The servey candidate UPSR only 31.1% answer in English. For Science
4. Level question very low and 30% for passes and grade a also low.

in my view teaching mathematics and science in english should be encouraged because pupils can improve their language and in future they won't face any language problem when they further more their studies.

It is a good program in town areas as they are exposed to the language and ICT as well, but pity the children in rural areas. God bless them.......
